Rebecca Nusbaum graduated from Kirkwood Community College with an Associate of Science degree in Veterinary Technology in 1999. In 2005 she received her VTS in Emergency and Critical Care. In 2004, she was instrumental in starting and growing HemoSolutions in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In 2014 she proudly became the owner of HemoSolutions. Rebecca is a member of several organizations including the CACVT, NAVTA, AVECCTN, VECCS, AVHTM, and has previously held board positions with the AVHTM and past committee member with the AVECCTN. She has authored several articles and is a co-author in the Manual of Veterinary Transfusion Medicine and Blood Banking and has lectured and participated in co-leading multiple transfusion workshops with IVECCS. Rebecca continues to help bring higher standards to veterinary blood banking and transfusion medicine. She enjoys time with her husband of 31 years, 4 children, 4 grandchildren and too many fur babies to mention, all rescues, because she is a sucker for big eyes!
