Dr. Jane Wardrop graduated with her DVM from Washington State University (WSU) in 1976 and spent 3 years in a small animal practice. She left practice to become a research associate with a hematologist at the University of Washington Medical School. She returned to WSU in 1981 to pursue a residency in Clinical Pathology, and has remained in the College of Veterinary Medicine at WSU since that time as a member of the faculty. She became a full professor in 2006, and currently serves as Director of the Clinical Pathology Laboratory and as Co-Director of Transfusion Services in the Veterinary Clinical Sciences department. Transfusion medicine is her passion, and is reflected in her many publications and research grants.
